We continue to do our part to bring access to healthcare to the community.
SLCCU worked with the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine along with the Missouri Baptist Medical Center to deliver much-needed access to breast cancer screenings. The service was offered to women 40 and over (insured and uninsured). Mammograms were available at no charge to those who qualified.*
The examinations took place at our Ferguson, Jennings, Southtown and Benton Park locations. More than 50 screenings were performed in 2018.
When it comes to breast cancer, early detection is important. Having convenient access to life-saving screenings is critical in the fight against this devastating disease.
St. Louis Community is more than a credit union. We are honored to stand with our healthcare partners to offer this necessity.
*Contact Siteman by phone at 314-747-7222 or online for qualification details.
