St. Louis Community Partners with Siteman for Breast Cancer Screenings

We are pleased to have started an outreach partnership with the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and the Washington University School of Medicine.

On September 21 and November 7, St. Louis Community Credit Union hosted mobile mammography van visits with breast cancer screenings for women age 40 and over (insured and uninsured). Mammograms were made available at no cost to women who qualified.* The examinations took place at our Ferguson and Benton Park branches. Funding was generously provided by the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women.** Early detection is key. Having convenient access to life-saving screenings is critical in the fight against this devastating disease.

St. Louis Community is more than a credit union. We are honored to partner with Siteman Cancer Center and the Washington University School of Medicine to offer this healthcare necessity to the community.
