Healthy Food, Healthy Lives:

St. Louis Community Partners with Link Market

St. Louis Community is pleased to be a partner in the Link Market, a modular grocery store at the Wellston and North Hanley MetroLink stations. MetroLink customers can shop for healthier foods at affordable prices and learn lessons on healthy eating, all during their daily commute. Through the Healthy Rx initiative, commuters can also receive health screenings at Mobile Medical Units at MetroLink stations in St. Louis County, as well as “prescriptions” for healthy foods that can be redeemed at either Link Market store.

SLCCU CEO Patrick Adams congratulates Link Market staff on the opening of their Hanley station location

“St. Louis Community Credit Union has supported the Link Market from the very beginning,” said Jeremy Goss, founder and president of the Link Market. “The sponsorship of our Healthy Rx prescription produce program will help improve the health of so many families in the region. St. Louis Community Credit Union is an example every corporation – nonprofit and for profit – should follow for how to make meaningful change in St. Louis.”

The Link Market is partially funded through a grant from The Bi-State Foundation and the Missouri Foundation for Health and is in partnership with the St. Louis Area Foodbank and SLATE. St. Louis Community is proud to be its corporate sponsor as part of our overall giveback to the community.
