Prosperity Connection® (originally The St. Louis Community CU Foundation) was established in 2009 by the leadership of St. Louis Community Credit Union. It is an independent 501(c)(3) whose mission is to strengthen the St. Louis region through economic empowerment by providing financial education, resources and support to low/moderate income residents in an effort to improve their standard of living and better their lifestyle.
St. Louis Community Credit Union provides significant support to Prosperity Connection so that the organization can provide a variety of empowerment services to members of the credit union, as well as the St. Louis community at-large. Services include free financial coaching and group seminars, access to academic scholarship funds for adult students, and more. Prosperity Connection also works collaboratively with St. Louis Community Credit Union, as well as other financial institution partners, to provide its clients with a range of affordable account service and consumer loan options that meet their unique financial needs.
Together, St. Louis Community Credit Union and Prosperity Connection work cooperatively to make it possible for individuals to access the resources they need to earn economic independence.

Prosperity Connection believes in the power of education and the transformational results it can bring to the community. In mid-2012, Prosperity Connection partnered with St. Louis Community Credit Union and Carrollton Bank to open the Excel Center®, a destination point and trusted source for free financial literacy, life skills education, professional development, benefits analysis, and much more. By working cooperatively with numerous social service and community partners, we provide a safe and comfortable place for the community to access the tools needed to become financially capable.
